Each piece is made by me, one at a time, and is built to the highest quality standards. There is an emphasis on hand work in my furniture, and I specialize in building pieces that require turning, carving, and inlay. My furniture is built using traditional methods of joinery, including hand cut dovetails and mortise and tenon. I select the wood for each piece of furniture, carefully matching the grain, the color, and the figure of the wood. I finish each piece with a hand rubbed oil finish or a shellac finish. Explore my website and see photos of my work. Please contact me if you have questions about my furniture. I look forward to hearing from you. Recent News: Be sure to check out Wooden Boat Magazine, issue # 202, June 2008 for an article I have written on Inlaying a Compass Rose. Also, I will be teaching the same topic at the Wooden Boat School during a week long class, August 24 - 30. Check my page on classes for details.
